Open day
26 July 2pm-7pm
26 July 2pm-7pm
What's it about?
We're turning 5 years old, and we want to celebrate! It's a chance for us to share what we've been up to these last 5 years, and for you to learn more about this co-operative, and the wider co-operative movement.
Come and meet us all, and enjoy:
Performances from local artists (including some of us who live at Tir Cyffredin)
A tour around our house and gardens
Delicious food and home-made cider bar
It's also a chance to learn about our loanstock offer, and how you can invest to keep Tir Cyffredin in community hands.
Who's invited?
Everyone! We'd like to see as many friendly faces from our wonderful community as possible, whether or not you are interested to invest.
How to get there?
Our house, Bryn Tyrnol, is just on the outskirts of Machynlleth - the first on the left off the Aberystwyth Road after the last roundabout.
What3words: headstone.asks.swooning
Please park at the roundabout or the Plas to avoid inconveniencing our neighbours.
Badger and Kate share an acoustic set of classical and Eastern European tunes
Poetry readings led by Si in our beautiful garden room, the Cuncumén
Take a wander with Ewan around the garden and then try some home-made herbal glycerites
Standards and improv by talented local musicians jamming on the day!
Award-willing bilingual alt-folk band and valley favourites perform our closing set
PS Session from 7pm...
Bring your instruments along to the day - we'll be sessioning round the campfire in the evening (or inside if it threatens rain!)
